How Much Would You Pay for a One-of-a-Kind Performance Truck?

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is a serious off-road performance pickup, designed to compete in desert races. With 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, along with racing shocks, and other special gear for handling tough terrain, it's able to soar to victory whether the way is paved or not.

There's another vehicle that reaches this level of mechanical prowess—a U.S. Air Force Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet.

To benefit the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagles program, Ford Performance crafted an even more powerful F-150 Raptor based on the F-22 Raptor. They only made one, and drivers with the money to spend had plenty of reason to clamor for the keys.

The F-22 F-150 Raptor boasts 545 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque. To pair with its jet-like engine, it features many unique design cues inside and out, light red and green position lights on the side mirrors, just like an aircraft.

The winning bid was for $300,000—roughly six times the price tag on a normal F-150 Raptor. The funds raised will go toward fostering enthusiasm for aeronautics in youths.
